If the book is in stock with the Vendor we will receive the book between 4 to 6 weeks from date of order. If not, we will have to wait longer.
According to our Collection Development Policy, the Library do not refund Staff for material bought from their own funds or their Departments funds. The books can be ‘donated’ to the Library if they want the material to be part of our book stock
You will find e-book titles on Find Plus on the Library Webpage
Acquisitions Department receives order form the Faculty Librarians. In the Department, we check for prices and availability. We then place an order with one of our Suppliers. After receiving the order, we send the book to the Cataloguing Department.
A new book is in process when the cataloguers are preparing it for the shelves.
Anyone can fill in the online form or place an order on a card available at all campuses. The decision to buy a book or subscribe to a journal depends on the budget, the acquisitions department of the library or a faculty librarian.
Yes, once they have been processed and sent to the new books shelves
